UX/ UI Designer based in NYC, driving towards accessibility and inclusivity
Hello!
My name is Carmeena Escobar and I am a UX Designer based in NYC. I have a degree Computer Information Systems from Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and a passion for visual aesthetics. I am a fantasy nerd and love reading in my free time. I am also an avid gamer and love to play Valorant and other video games with my friends!
My journey to UX began in middle school when I first exposed myself to code and graphic design through Tumblr and Wattpad. I collaborated with authors and other content creators and offered to create covers and custom forums. In my senior year of high school, I began to take a computer programming where my love for code began. From here I decided to study Computer Information Systems, a major that combined two of my passions: business and technology.
I found User Experience Design through a friend who told me about the world of UX Design. It was here that I realized that a career in UX was exactly what my passions have aligned with.
